Courtney Nicole Medical and Recovery Fund

Sunday, May 5, 2019 My friend Coutney was in a bad car accident. Courtney broke her pelvis in 2 places in which she will not be able to walk on her own for sometime, along with broken ribs, and a collapsed lung. Courtney's lung is not showing improvement after a week of 2 chest tubes and lots of around the clock care and PT.  She was recently life flighted via jet to Shands Hospital in Gainsville,  where she will undergo several more procedures. 

Shes has three beautiful children, and she's all they have. 

Much Love and please send this beautiful woman and wonderful mother, some positive energy, healing prayers, and strength, as her recovery will take a lot of physical and mental strength the rest of this year.

UPATE 5/24/2019 : 

Courtney now, has been in the hospital since the 4th of May, with no idea when she will be able to go home to her children. So far She has undergone about 6 surgeries since  the accident.

Currently Courtney is on a IV treatment right now and extremely tired.

On May 22 Courtney's left lung had a tension pneumothorax which was causing her left lung to push hey heart all the way over into her right lung.  Her doctors are afraid that Her heart can stop any second and her vitals are dropping as the time passes. On the 22 she prepared to  yet again go back into the operating room for a more invasive aggressive surgery to try and relieve the pressure. That same day  Her lung completely stopped functioning.

Today, Courtney is under going a pneumonectomy, where her left lung is being removed.  It's a dangerous and very invasive surgery, and the healing process is going to be long and hard because she will  I have to learn how to breath with one lung.
