Courtney Porter Funeral Exp & Sons' Scholarship
Donation protected
Courtney Stokes Porter passed away unexpectedly on April 24. Courtney leaves behind a loving husband (Daniel) and three amazing sons (Chris, Nicholas, and Alexander).
I met Courtney two years ago when she and her two sisters (Brittany and Ashlee) started volunteering with our youth sports programs at American Renaissance School. Her two younger sons play on the ARS football and basketball teams, and run track for ARS. Even though her kids did not go to ARS, they quickly became part of the ARS family, and Courtney dedicated countless volunteer hours to coach basketball, coordinate basketball, and coach track for the school. She and her sisters worked with their church to allow our school to have an extra gym for basketball practices when other places in the county turned us away.
Courtney was an amazing wife, mother, coach, and friend who would do anything for the youth at ARS, Success Institute, and her church. She had a heart of gold, and the ARS youth sports programs are better because of her involvement over the last two years. Courtney will be greatly missed, and we ask that everyone keep her husband, her sons, and her extended family in your prayers.
ARSYAA (American Renaissance Youth Athletic Association) is accepting donations to offset funeral expenses and establish a scholarship fund for her three sons. ARSYAA's track team will match all donations up to $500 total.
