Courtney Rose Franklin

Courtney Rose Franklin known to most as Rosie or Rose is 29 years young with 4 beautiful babies at home Ally age 9 Dierks age 6 Ava age 4 and Drezden age almost 2. 3 weeks ago she started having really bad migraines with vomiting following shortly after. She went to her PCP who prescribed her with some Imitrex and diagnosed her with cluster migraines. She was told to come back in a month for a follow up. That same night she couldn’t keep anything down and was up vomiting throughout most of the overnight into morning. She felt weird and her limbs were tingling and going numb so she went to the ER on Thursday 12/15/22. After telling them her symptoms they performed an MRI. This resulted in the findings of a mass about 8cm big in the right frontal lobe of her brain. She was immediately admitted to the Neurology unit at the University. After more scans and tests surgery was needed. She underwent brain surgery Saturday 12/17/22. Surgery went well she handled it like a champ. The doctors believe they removed about 90% of this mass and are almost certain it is a grade 4 glioma malignant tumor. She is currently in ICU healing and figuring out next steps. Which will include daily visits to hospital for 6 weeks starting in January for radiation followed by a chemo pill that can be taken at home. This is going to be a very difficult road for her! This girl has a heart of gold. She was a direct care staff taking care of the mentally disabled before moving on to cutting men’s hair! She graduated in August from that and was working at a clean Cut Barbershop til present. No family deserves to go through this and better yet not alone! We will fight til the end and keep our faith in God that she will prevail! Medical bills, home bills, child care and everything else that will be the new normal for her would forever be grateful!
