Courtney Yasmineh Folkrock songwriter ninth album

Hello friends, I am a recording and touring songwriter in the Folkrock tradition and I'm raising funds to support the roll out of my new ninth album which will be released internationally in May of 2024.

I've been a full time music artist for much of my adult life and I've supported myself and my musical projects by performing on tours in the US and Europe, by teaching songwriting and creative writing, and by working in many different arenas including in the service industry and in interior design.

I always have come back to my main passion, my lifelong calling to be a performing songwriter.

I toured in Europe in October of 2023 and my fans and supporters encouraged me to try to make a solo acoustic album this time, ideally recorded in a church for the acoustics and the solemnity.

My home church in Minneapolis, Minnesota is helping by providing the perfect little chapel, and there is a wonderful long time supporter and promoter of my music at the helm as producer, my dear friend John Estrem. With a senior and a junior recording engineer as part of our team, our friends Simon and Alek, the four of us will record every Sunday afternoon in January with the determination to complete the recording of eleven new songs.

After the recordings are completed, there are many additional expenses involved. We anticipate there being a significant additional effort needed to take the raw recordings and organize and shape them into a professional quality full length album release.

In addition, there is artwork to be added, there is merchandise to be designed, there are CDs and vinyl to be printed, there are publicists in the US and Europe to contact and hopefully enlist, and there is touring to be booked and planned and executed.

I pledge to you, as I have with all of my past successfully completed fundraising efforts, to bring my very best.

I pledge to do my best to be in collaboration with my God, my understanding of the Holy Spirit, and my perception of the Universe as my co-creator.

I pledge to endeavor to honor the many angels seen and unseen in this life who have upheld my songwriting and my performing.

The new album is entitled "The Universe's Beloved Wealthy Daughter".

The next hurdles are getting printing costs covered for CDs and a small paperback book that goes with the album, by the same title.
