Courtney's Dental Surgery

Hi! My name is Courtney Foltz and I truly appreciate you taking a moment of your time to read my story. In 2010, I was diagnosed with Scleroderma, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Raynauds, and Myositis. With these diagnoses came an abundance of medication. Unfortunately, the medication that is keeping me going comes with bad side effects. One of those side effects greatly impacts my oral health and teeth. My teeth have become severely damaged and have broken. For a young mom of three, or really anyone, having broken teeth greatly impacts your mental health as well as physical health. My teeth have become a huge insecurity and have caused me a lot of physical pain. I have been to multiple dentists to see what could be done. Unfortunately, a lot of the dentist didn't want to treat me due to my medication and Scleroderma. When I did find a dentist that would offer anything, I found out that dentures are not an option for me and that I would need to have implants. I went to 3 other dentists and found one that had the right implants. My insurance will not cover the cost of implants that I need. I am asking for help to reach my goal of $17,000 to get my teeth and oral health back. The money donated will go straight to an account for the dental procedure.
