Courtney's Hip Replacement & Recovery

You know it; we all know it. There’s nobody in the world like Courtney. Whether you’ve worked with her, laughed and toasted to life with her, or she’s cleaned your clock at the pool table, everybody who knows Courtney loves Courtney. And right now, friends, she really needs our help.

For many years, our beloved friend, bartender, singer and pool shark has toughed it out and walked around with chronic osteoarthritis, smiling her way through lower back pain and knee pain. But all that time, due to her condition, the cartilage in her right hip was wearing away, worsening her other joint problems and causing waves of pain every time she stood.

Courtney’s right hip joint is now bone on bone, an excruciating situation that leaves her unable to walk or work and with no other option but to get a hip replacement—a costly procedure that means even more time off work. Although she will come out of this bionic and eventually better than ever, she needs our financial help to get there.

Medicaid will cover some of the cost of Courtney’s surgery, but it won’t cover her monthly bills or many other medical bills and rehabilitation care while she recovers.

This GoFundMe will go toward her medical and living expenses until she has recovered and can work again, hopefully by the end of 2022.
