Courtney's Medical Journey

Donation protected
As many of you are aware Courtney Boothroyd was a passenger in a horrific motorcycle accident on June 25, 2023. The driver of a car in the oncoming lane crossed over into their lane causing a head-on collision. Courtney has sustained many injuries including traumatic brain injury with significant cognitive deficits, bilateral arm fractures, right lower extremity fractures, pelvic fractures along with extensive injuries to her bladder and abdomen. Courtney has undergone multiple surgeries and although she has shown slight improvements, she has a long road of recovery ahead of her. She has recently been transferred out of ICU because her vitals have stabilized. She still has a tracheotomy and feeding tube for her safety because her traumatic brain injury has diminished her cognitive abilities and she is unable to follow commands consistently. Once Courtney is stabilized, the goal is to transfer her to a long-term rehabilitation center where she will have extensive therapy as well as additional surgeries. Because Courtney will have an extended time in rehab, she will be unable to return to her current employment to take care of her personal and medical bills as well as financially supporting her two daughters.

For those of you who know Courtney, you know that she is a fighter and I believe that she will continue to fight with all that she has. She has a lot more life to experience for herself, her girls and her loved ones.

We want to thank everyone in advance for any donation given. Every little bit helps. If you're not able to help monetarily, we ask that you help through keeping Courtney in your daily prayers and sharing this post.
