COVER COST FOR THE HUNEYCUTT FAMILY
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Megan and I am hoping to help the Huneycutt family in a trying time. As well all no the medical life doesn't come easy , Lorie and Paul are faced with another unknown with Rylie in the hospital. Between this year and last they have spent more time at children's hospital than home. I want to help relieve the burden of gas food and then worrying about bills for the time being and just focus on Rylie.
THIS WAS THE LAST UPDATE LAST NIGHT.

UPDATE-
I am sorry for lack of updates. I am struggling to gather my thoughts and find words. But hundreds of people prayed Rylie back from death’s door last night. We promise to give more details. We have just hit a whole new level of emotional exhaustion we have never known…
She is still in PICU
On high flow oxygen- still high needs for O2
It looks like we are on the other side of sepsis
They are now focused on her oxygen requirements, lungs, and urinary/fluid stats
Her head CT was normal
She has been awake and talking and singing all day today
People here who witnessed her before and after waking up are telling us today- they have not seen anything like that. They have no idea what happened. And we just say to them- Jesus. It was Jesus.
She had been completely non-responsive as her BPs dropped and oxygen had suddenly dropped to 70 before getting to PICU. They were pushing bolus after bolus of fluids to try to increase her BP and giving a med to increase her BP. She was on bipap because her breathing regressed so quickly and then that’s when they said they needed to intubate to protect her airway because of the extreme lethargy……
We had been yelling and shaking and pinching her before. She slept through two hours of getting a PICC line placed, and slept through getting a central line in her thigh and arterial line.
Then as everyone prepped to intubate her, the PICU dr tried one more time to pinch her to wake her up and then she just did.
Jesus.
I was begging him to not let her die. I wasn’t ready. We weren’t ready. But then all I could think to pray was- where are you Jesus? Where are you? WHERE ARE YOU?!?! And then she woke up.
There are no words to explain and describe the trauma and what we witnessed play out yesterday. Jesus. That is the only word I have right now. A name.
She has a long way to go because of her lungs and her ileus has really wrecked her belly. But she is stable presently. And Nationwide PICU has taken phenomenal care of her. I’ve never seen anything like it. Amazing.
Thank you for praying. Pray we continue to see God’s hand here WITH us. Yes we want her healed and to go home, but ultimately we just need him. To be able to see his presence and love. And to not be distracted with despair and fear.
Jesus.❤️
