Cover Housing Costs to Finish the Semester
Donation protected
Hi there! My name is Jonah, and I'm a junior at the University of Northern Colorado. I recently faced an unexpected challenge when I had to move during week six of the semester. This transition led me to university housing, which increased my expenses by about $2,500—something I hadn't planned for at all. Unfortunately, I don't qualify for private student loans without a cosigner.
Moving to campus has been overwhelmingly positive. It has allowed me to experience more campus life while having more free time to study and spend with my dog, Laddybuck. My former housing was two hours by bus to and from campus. That meant a lot of kennel time for him since I have class five days a week. Now, he is much happier, and we're both getting a lot of exercise while walking around campus.
I am reaching out because I need help covering approximately $1,000 to secure my class registration next semester. Registering for classes is crucial to accessing the grants and funding necessary for my continuing tuition and housing costs. I must pay the full $2,500 by January 2nd to attend classes next semester; however, I can start the process by paying $1000. Any support you could provide would mean the world to me. Thank you for considering my request!
