Cover medical expenses for Luke Truman

Hello, my name is Brandy Napier and I am a close friend of Lukes. As most of you know Luke was in a horrific accident Tuesday evening (August 23, 2022) on Route 30 in Mansfield .

A man driving a dump truck traveling west bound hit the concrete barrier and went airborne and hit Luke’s Ohio Edison truck that was traveling east bound. Both guys were taken to Mansfield Hospital.

Luke was pinned in the truck and had to be cut out. He has a smashed pelvis, a broken left hip, a broken left tibia and fibula, a ruptured bladder and had to have his right leg amputated from the knee down which later has been amputated above the knee.

Luke has undergone multiple surgeries in the last few days along with being transported by helicopter to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He is scheduled for more surgeries in the near future in Columbus where he is making small progress!

If you’ve met Luke, you know he’s one of the toughest, hardworking and down to earth people you’ll meet!

He has a very long road ahead of him that will require a lot of therapy appointments, living changes, doctors appointments and possible prosthetics. Please join me in helping lessen the burden of expenses for Luke and his family during this incredibly hard time!
