cover the cost of rehabilitation program

My name is Karolina. I am raising money to help my cousin.

Krzysztof is 30 years old, until last year he was leading a normal life like anyone else, going to work, meeting friends, and planning the future with his girlfriend. Unfortunately things tragically changed for him after jumping into a swimming pool during the summertime. He unfortunately broke his cervical spine and was in a coma for 11 days, spending months in the hospital.

Now he is needing a rehabilitation program that helps him to optimise his functional independence and quality of life.

The NHS treatment in Poland is not fully covered and private rehabilitation is very expensive, so myself, as his closest family, my husband Maciej and our friend Monika decided to start crowdfunding to help him cover the cost of the rehabilitation program as soon as possible.

 

To make this crowdfunding special and relevant Maciej and Monika will be going on an expedition to Kilimanjaro that had been planned before the accident happened. They will be climbing with his name on their T-shirts to give him the faith to overcome the difficulties in his painful recuperation.
