Covering Medical Costs for 14Yr Old Kaitlyn Lau

Hi, my name is Danny, and I am asking for any donations towards covering medical costs for my 14-year-old cousin, Kaitlyn. On Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, Kaitlyn was walking with her friends to grab a bite to eat after school. Unfortunately, she was caught in an altercation between two separate and unrelated groups. They opened fire, and she was struck in the neck. She was rushed to the Long Island Jewish Hospital, where they discovered the bullet stuck in her spinal cord. She is currently stable, but in critical condition. The doctors were unable to safely remove the bullet, and their prognosis is that she may be paralyzed below the neck for the rest of her life.

On behalf of her family, I am setting up this GoFundMe page in hopes of raising funds to help cover her surgeries and any other unforeseen expenses.
