Covering the cost of a new Heater and ambulance.

Hi, my name is Vern, I am a 75 year old Vietnam era Navy Veteran with my only income being Social Security. I'm fundraising to help cover the cost to replace my broken home wall heater and pay for the Ambulance ride to the Hospital. Something broke inside my wall heater resulting in my waking up and not being unable to breath. I called 911, and was put on Oxygen by Paramedics then taken to the Heart Hospital as they thought I was having a Heart Attack. Turns out I was suffering from Carbon Monoxide poisoning and I spent a week in the Hospital recovering from that

The ambulance service sent me the bill for that transport and now I found out that the Veterans Admin will not cover the cost of that Ambulance ride. I'll have to come up with the money to pay for the new heater and ambulance ride to the Hospital. Thankfully Medicare Part A covered my Hospital expenses. I do not have Part B coverage as I get all of my medical care through the Veterans Admin Medical Center.
