COVID-19: Support Your Global Community
We need your help more than ever.
With the international spread of COVID -19 and enforced
social isolation, those most vulnerable need your support to
get through this challenging time.
The Canadian Association for Children's Education in
Pakistan (CACEP) and the Alberta Men’s Network (AMN) will be putting together care packages for
underprivileged families in Northern Pakistan.
Currently, we need to support 500 deserving families by providing a care package for each family. Each care package will cost $50 and should cover a family for a month.
Every package will include:
Flour - 20 kg
Rice - 5 kg
Cooking Oil - 4 kg
Sugar - 3 kg
Milk - 10 units
Beans - 4 kg
Chickpeas - 3 kg
Hand Soap - 5 units
We estimate the total cost to be $25,000 for monthly care packages for 500 families and we would like to accomplish this in 2
weeks hopefully. We're asking that you help us in easing the burden on these deserving families during this difficult time. We are incredibly grateful for any donation you can possibly give. Thank you!
The Canadian Association of Children's Education in Pakistan (CACEP) is a global movement providing educational opportunities to children from fragile and conflict-affected areas of Pakistan. Children in our programs are either orphans or from families with desperate financial needs. We provide educational opportunities at the door step. We involve the local community including teachers, community elders, and parents to facilitate the process. Our goal is to engage the whole community in the education and development of their children.
