Covid expenses for Boura household
Donation protected
I'm trying raise money for the family in Arizona. Covid hit the household pretty hard and everyone has been out of work for at least a month or longer. Bills are piling up and medical bills will start coming in soon
My mom, Chris has been sick since the beginning of June and finally went to the hospital right after fathers day, tested positive for covid and double pneumonia. She is at home recovering now.
My dad, Cliff started getting sick around fathers day as well. He ended up in the hospital that week as well with double pneumonia and due to his past pnuemonia issues(on a ventilator for almost 3 weeks) plus him being diabetic, they kept him for the 5 day treatment, since he already had prior lung problems. When he was finally able to go home, his foot started turning blue. He went back into the hospital that next morning and they told him he had a blood clot. After a couple surgeries putting in stents for the clots, they told him he was going to lose his foot. He got his foot amputated and is dealing with the physical and emotional stress it has caused. Because if anyone knows Cliff, knows he has to be moving or working on something all the time. His oxygen is still a little low and since they haven't been able to lower it much(still at 10liters), he will need oxygen at home and he will need physical therapy for a while to get back on track and learn how to use the prosthetic.

My grandma, Lois, just recently was sent to the hospital. She started turning blue and was sent to the hospital by ambulance. She has been on the ventilator for about a week now and is on the verge of being taken off soon,T but her blood pressure keeps fluctuating. She will need rehabilitation and some physical therapy as well
Jessica, her husband and 3 young kids also were affected by this. They haven't worked in almost a month. They all had fevers that same weekend my parents did but have minor symptoms other than that. The kids are all doing ok so far as well
I'll keep updating as I find out more info.
