Covid Food Bank Challenge

The North Shuswap Food Bank needs your help. Over the last couple of weeks, the NSFB has noticed an uptick in calls. With this lock-down, people are working less, or not working at all. And what’s going to happen to all the tourist jobs this summer? Many people in our communities are wondering where they’ll get the money to pay hydro and buy food.

We need to get some cash into the Chase Food Bank or the NS Christmas Hamper group. I’m donating $200 today to the GoFundMe campaign, and I challenge those that can, to meet or beat that amount.

I also challenge our community to raise $5000 (hopefully more) by the end of April.
