Covid help for CMC Hospital, Coimbatore, India
We are the Alumni of Coimbatore Medical College / Hospital, living and working in the UK. Coimbatore is a second tier pleasant city in Southern India and is facing a large number of Covid cases in almost all the Covid care centres, especially the Coimbatore Medical college Hospital and ESI hospital.
There is an acute shortage particularly of Oxygen and also of medicines and other essential patient care items. Though help comes from various quarters, this is not enough. Oxygen plants are being installed but are inadequate on their own and other sites also face woeful Oxygen capacity. Medicines and other patient care items are also in acute short supply.
We are in contact with our Dean and well as other prominent medics and are trying to raise funds to help them build up capacity to deal with the increasing numbers of patients requiring treatment.
I appeal to you to contribute generously for this worthy cause to save lives. Every penny will go to the hospitals to build capacity and quality. Every donation however small or big will be gratefully appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness.
