Covid Relief for Dave Osterfeld and Family

Hi my name is Karen Harker. I am fund raising for my good friend, Dave Osterfeld, and his loving family. Dave served his country in the US Army during Desert Storm, is a Carroll High School Alumni Class of 1992, and the proud father of 4 children, the youngest age 4. In late August he tested positive for COVID was rushed to Grandview Hospital via ambulance and put on a ventilator. Dave is fighting for his life and the prognosis does not look good. His income was the family’s primary source and it stops September 15.

Over the years I witnessed Dave go through many hardships including losing an infant child. His wife passed away after a lengthy illness at a young age leaving Dave with three young children to take care of all who have had many major medical issues. Dave eventually remarried a courageous women named Brittany, who willingly and lovingly accepted the challenge of being stepmom to Dave’s kids. Soon they had a child of their own. Brittany is a stay at home mom caring for all the children, but we fear this will all change soon.
