COVID Relief for Meadows Family
Hello, my name is Jeanna Meadows and currently my husband, Matthew Meadows, is in the ICU on a ventilator with COVID. He got sick on July 6th and was admitted into the hospital on July 13th. Since then, on July 21st, the doctors made the decision to put him on a ventilator as his lungs were unable to function properly.
Matthew is the sole provider of our family's income. He serves as a pastor of a very small local church and is a family and marital counselor. He works in full-time Christian ministry and since getting sick his ministry and ability to provide has been halted. Matthew was born and raised in Birmingham, AL and graduated from Samford University ('90). He received his first interim preaching job as a 17-year-old and has been in full-time ministry ever since. After graduating from Samford and marrying Jeanna Jordan Meadows, he went on to Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX where he attained a double masters of Religious Education and Family and Marital Counselling ('95). After graduation, Matthew has served in three different churches in the Jacksonville, FL area. He has three children Jordan (26), Jonathan (22), and Melea (20).
We do not know the length or the outcome of this illness as his condition is still critical. These funds will provide his family peace of mind. The main reason for this fund being established is because many people have asked how they can help during this stressful and uncertain time. Besides continuous prayer, this is where we need the most help.
