COVID Relief Fund for Our Factory in Delhi, India
Donation protected

We are asking for your help to create a COVID Relief Fund for the workers of our factory in Delhi, the capital of India, who are amidst their 3rd week of lockdown during a horrific second wave. The infections have spread so fast that hospitals have been completely swamped. People are turned away by the thousands. Medicine is running out along with lifesaving oxygen. The sick have been left stranded in interminable lines at hospital gates or at home, literally gasping for air.
We = 4 women-owned small-businesses / designers who share and partner with the most talented factory in all of the lands (in our humble opinion) to make our clothing : Maria Stanley, Micaela Greg, Back Beat Co. and Cleobella.
Every cent will be sent directly to the owner of our factory, Naresh, as an emergency fund to distribute to his team as he sees fit with no questions asked. Funds could be used to pay off hospital bills, paid time off to stay safely home from work, to assist a family member in need, food, safety and sanitation supplies, rent, and so on.
From the other side of the world, outside of sending our love and blessings, this is the best way we know how to urgently and directly support our Indian partners who have become family to us.
Lots of love,
Maria Stanley, Marie and Karen of Micaela Greg, Isadora of Back Beat Co., and Angela of Cleobella
UPDATE : We have wired Naresh $7990 on May 8th, we plan to do another wire in a couple of weeks. Thank you so much everyone for your kindness and generosity.
