Emeche Cakery and Cafe Covid Resturant Relief

Six months ago, my dream of opening a Bakery came true! In November 2019, we opened the doors to Emeche(pronounced em'a'shay) Cakery and Cafe located 3453 South Prairie Avenue in Chicago's Bronzeville Neighborhood. Since then we have received an overwhelming amount of support from the Community. We created the space so that the Southside could have a place for people to work and/or commune, while enjoying delicious pastries, desserts and lunch items. We will  become a Staple in the community and we would need your help  to stay that way. 

During this time, where small business are asked to reduce their time of operation and close doors-is a time where we have to find ways to stay open.  As a new small business-this time has forced us to make difficult decisions. We had to reduce staff and hours due to a significant decline in sales.  We currently remain open but this will allow us to stay afloat during this time and give our employees hours.
