COVID Safety Fundraiser

When our school budget was created for 2020-21, no one foresaw the need to create such a large budget to acquire cleaning materials nor a COVID-19 analyzer machine, and the needed reagents for the testing students with COVID like symptoms to ensure they would not miss a day of school. To make up for the $23,000 in unexpected covid 19 safety expenditures (not including the costs of the Upper School and Preschool bathroom renovations and new school desks to maintain a 6 feet distance for all students), we are asking for your help to contribute to COVID Safety Fund donation. Additional donation is highly welcomed as 67% of our students are on financial aid and many may not be able to provide the extra cost.
This money will be used for:
1. Two Schedule COVID tests for everyone returning from the Thanksgiving holidays and Winter break (these are saliva tests that we shipped for PCR testing).
2. Providing 1 emergency in-house COVID tests should your child exhibit cold symptoms at school, utilizing our machine for 30 minute rapid results to minimize the days they could potentially be absent.
3. Buying extra cleaning supplies needed to sanitizing more frequently to provide and upkeep more safety precautions.
