COVID-19 Face Shield Design

Want to join me in making a difference? We're raising money to benefit health care workers who are in need of face shields, and any donation will help make an impact. Our MESA (Math Engineering Science Achievement) students from our school will be designing and building face visors from home by using re-purposed materials. Our goal is to build between 30,000 to 40,000 face visors by the end of the school year so that healthcare workers can use these while fighting this deadly virus. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.  All money will be used to purchase the materials necessary to build these efficiently.  These will be delivered to the Mayo Clinic once they are built.  They have approved the final design today 4-2-2020.  We have completed the first 5,000 face shields and will be delivering these on April 21st to the Mayo Clinic.  Our second 5,000 face shields will be built this week and deliver the other 10,000 on April 27th.

The cost to build these shields are very low, but we need around $2500 to purchase the materials for each 10,000 shields built.  We are in the process of ordering the materials for the next 10,000, but we need your help.  We are almost reaching our half way point of $5,000.
