COVID-19 Fundraiser for Masjid Al Salaam

As-Salāmu ‘Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullāhi Wa-Barakātuh,
On behalf of Masjid Al Salaam we would like to reach out to the Muslim community in our time of need. With the ongoing pandemic caused by COVID-19 we have been forced to temporarily close to the public, as instructed by our government and following the example of masjids around the world.
Our Masjid has been open for less than one year, we run solely off donations so the closing of our facilities has greatly affected our finances. As it stands now, we will be well short on our monthly expenses going forward and risk permanently closing as this crisis extends.
By Allah’s will, our Masjid’s community has been steadily growing through the various programs and classes that have been ongoing. Brothers and sisters we ask for your assistance to help us stay open and continue benefiting our community.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 to cover three months of our basic expenses to avoid closing down.
