COVID-19 funds for the Hamiltons

Not many know about the situation that is going on with my dear friend Michael Hamilton, who has become family, but, things are getting pretty serious and the help from family and friends would be greatly appreciated.  On May 19th Mike tested positive for COVID. On May 21st, Mike started having problems breathing and his wife, Lashawna, called 911. Kennewick fire department took Mike to Trios Southridge hospital, where he was admitted into ICU. Mike was on CPAP and BiPAP for a few days when he turned critically ill. Mike was intubated on May 28th. Things still were not going well. On June 4th his wife made the hard decision to have Mike get air lifted to Portland. Since he has been there, they have done an ECMO (Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) procedure and a tracheostomy. We are all currently saying prayers that he pulls through. Mike and Lashawna have two kids, Brooklyn 16 and Anthony 11. Mike is not only a Veteran but he is also a respiratory therapist, who has been on the frontlines since the pandemic has started. He has helped many with and without COVID and now he needs our help. This money will be going to Lashawna Hamilton to help with medical expenses, food for her family and to help pay bills.
