Hello friends and family . As many of you know, I moved to Atlanta over the summer to continue my professional journey , exploring my artistic and creative aspirations, and to seek a better quality of life . I moved into my brand new beautiful apartment June 26th , began working & three months later I was struck with COVID-19 then MPV (monkey pox) for a total of 5 weeks from point of first symptoms starting. When my Primary Care Physician cleared me back to work about five weeks later, I lost my job and had to start the application process all over again. This as you imagine was extremely frustrating not to mention stressful and painful. From the point of recovery to today I am happy to report I resumed work however I am needing to pay two months worth of rent that was not paid due to this whole process. For those that know me well, I do not open up when things go wrong, I tend to become distant and quiet , and sometimes regrettable shut down. But because this is 100% legitament, because I know my friends and followers that have followed my trajectory know this was 100% true , I made the decision today to do something I have never done before which is publically share with you my story in the form of art with my new upcoming short film "Raices/Roots" a true testament of tenacity and resilience of the human spirit this holiday season. The reason for this Go Fund Me is to help me raise $3500 that I need to pay all fees inlcuding the rent for the two months I was not able to work so I can continue moving forward in good standing with my leasing management . I have in the past had my reservations about others creating Go Fund Me accounts. I think that many people abuse this platform to extort and take advantage whne real people who have a strong work ethic like myself have never utilized or abused it. So in closing, if you are a friend, family member, maybe you have followed my trajectory and are touched by what has happened to me and just wanna to continue seeing me win, I say to you, thank you so much , you are blessed to be a blessing, these things happen & it doesnt mean that a person was at fault, sometimes we are provided the opportunity to pay it forward so that we may continue to be blessed in the future. I look forward to presenting to you all my upcoming project which I did all on my own as a way to give you a message of hope, a message of love, during this holiday season. Thank you again for whatever amount you can contribute, I know this will truly be my best birthday yet!
