COVID-19 Mutual Aid - Snohomish County
We are a grassroots, all-volunteer movement to build communities rooted in compassion and non-judgement. We promote solidarity, not charity. Right now, we aim to make sure people who need food and supplies are not left out.
We deliver to vulnerable families and individuals who are in need or affected by Covid19. This includes immigrants and their families, communities of color, LGBTQ, the elderly, and under- or unemployed, or anyone who is affected by this public health emergency and the systems of inequity and oppression which has made it worse.
We envision a future where these acts of love and compassion for others become our daily experience. We intend for our actions to be lasting throughout our communities.
Your gifts, while not tax deductible, are being used for direct aid, such as groceries and essential supplies and delivery; check-ins and outreach to affected community members; sharing information about Snohomish, state or federal resources for funding and other support; small cash grants; transportation when possible; and other actions to support the survival of our friends and neighbors.
