Education & Support for Kisenyi Young Mothers

Donation protected
PCA - a registered Non Profit in Kampala Uganda is currently providing assistance to homeless children and young mothers in the Kisenyi neighborhood of Kampala. Care from PCA includes shelter, food, education, and medical help for its beneficiaries.  PCA is expanding their support for young mothers and in addition to food, shelter, and sanitary help, they are providing vocational training and assistance in meeting domestic needs

The living conditions in Kisenyi are basic and cramped with little access to running water, making hygienic access difficult, which proposes additional challenges with the current pandemic. Many of the young mothers live in single-room wooden homes with no running water and are at high risk for HIV and fall victim to sex-work.

Your donations will be uses to fund vocational training and support (food, shelter costs, and medical supplies and care). Any and all funds will help and is greatly appreciated.

PCA is a non-governmental community-based organization that supports orphans, vulnerable street children, and their families, and young mothers - providing them access to new opportunities for a better life while attempting to reconnect them to their families and communities.

I worked on-site with PCA and its founder Paul directly in 2012 helping expand and upgrade their facility at the time. They do amazing work supporting local children and women with no other place to turn.
