Covid-19 Relief: Help 363 South LA Students

Tax deductible
Our LA Promise Fund's 363 students have all been affected by the  COVID-19. In fact, 79% of their families have lost ALL income due to the pandemic.

While we are working to equip LAPF families with computers so their students can keep learning from home, we are also working double time to staff our Food Pantry and provide grab-and-go meals for our students at LA Promise Charter Middle and High School.

We are in need of donations:

-To purchase food, water, and hygiene essentials
-To service our students’ remote learning needs with computers and Wi-Fi
-To support families who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 business closures

Donation Suggestions:

-$25 will buy a family a bag of groceries
-$50 will cover a family’s cell phone bill for one month
-$100 will buy a family groceries for a week
-$250 will pay for a computer and Wi-Fi until the end of the school year for a student in need

If we are able to hit our campaign goal of $64,000, our pantry, which 363 students rely on each week, will be stocked for at least two months. It would also ensure that each of our students will have the tools and technology they need to continue learning from home until the end of the school year.

If you prefer, you can also support distance learning directly by purchasing items from our Amazon wishlist.
