COVID-19: Shamans of Chonon Rawa (Peru) Emergency
Donation protected
This man was the eldest in the "Chonon Rawa" Shamanic healing school, one of their first cases of the virus, and the first one to die from COVID-19.
In the heart of the Amazon forest exists one of the most and important ancient Shipibo indigenous tribal communities. The "Chonon Rawa", school of the Great Shamanic Wise Master Healers, is located within "Isa Sina," Comunidad Ecologica nativa de Nueva Betania, along Ucayali river, near Pucallpa, Peru.
The COVID-19 virus has reached these very remote rural indigenous communities and severely impacted this entire region. COVID-19 is killing the Shamans who practice and teach the ancient traditions.
"Chonon Rawa" has set up a basic COVID-19 emergency care at their own site and in surrounding regions. They are treating patients with natural resources and basic medical supplies and medicines. They have now exhausted their own resources for purchasing supplies and by providing food for patients and their families who come to them for help from all around the Ucayali river region, and beyond.
The Shamans have deep understanding of traditional medicinal plants, and use them for the benefit of others while actively guarding and protecting the earth and all creatures around them. They ran out of what they had on their own, they gave it all, and is not enough.

This is the first attempt to ask the outside world to help the "Chonon Rawa".
They need many basic supplies including:
♥ Hygiene Kits: Gel alcohol, Soaps, cleaning supplies for the affected areas.
♥ Medical biosecurity kits.
And funds for:
♥ COVID-19 preventive counseling.
♥ Education Kits and psychosocial support.
♥ Notebooks, pencil and colors, playful games.
♥ Mobility Transfer to the affected areas of the communities.
♥ Food for families.
♥ Emotional counseling.
I am Silvana Machicao, born and raised in Peru. I represent and advocate for "Chonon Rawa", and lived with them while immersing into their teachings.
Sadly, the rural ancient native indigenous communities of Peru are often the most forgotten and neglected. They are a true legacy to humanity and we must help them.
This initial fundraise amount is just a number to start. I will keep you to up date as how we are doing. Right now, anything will help us. We will continue to update their needs and the amount as we learn more about this rapidly changing crisis.
With gratitude, Much Love and Light to All. Blessings <3
This is Leona, lady shaman of Chonon Rawa.
This is Flora Tangoa, a member of the community of Isa Sina, who is infected with COVID-19. She is currently recuperating from the virus.
