COVID-19 Supplies for 3D Printed PPE and Splitters

Hello! Our names are Gregory Kurgansky and Benjamin Sanits and we are currently working on producing PPE Face Shields and Vent Splitters for the community and hospitals. Greg is a first year medical student at NYITCOM and Benjamin is an incoming medical student in the Fall 2020. With the inspiration of Dr. Randy Stout, Dr. Olga Savinova, and the NYIT Center for Biomedical Innovation, we have setup a 3D printer and are currently printing supplies for those facilities that are in need. We would also like to thank our classmates, family, and friends for the motivation and support they have given us!

In addition to printing durable, personalized face shields, we are making disposable face shields that can be used in dire situations. We will be expanding our printing capacity and production in order to print vent splitters, flow limiters, and face shields at a faster rate and in large quantities. 

We ask for your donations to help offset the price of the PLA/PETG filament, acetate sheets, elastic bands, foam, and maintenance costs. Thank you!
