COVID-19 Unexpected Loss- Rivas Family Fund

My dad, Jesus Rivas, lost his 3-week battle with COVID-19 on April 7, 2020. He was a firm believer in God, and my family knows that he is at peace in heaven. My dad was an extremely hard-working and conscientious man, and he was dedicated to his family, the word of God, and work. He leaves behind four daughters and a wife, along with so many other family members and friends.
My dad worked every single day of his life to keep a roof over our family’s head. He went to church every Sunday and taught Bible class every Wednesday night at his church. He raised my sisters and I to be hard workers, respect others, respect ourselves, and he firmly supported the educational aspirations of all my sisters and I. Although we were not a wealthy family, my dad did his best to provide for us by working endless hours in sweatshops and making sacrifices to make sure things were taken care of at home.
He, like many Americans, did not have life insurance, a 401k, health insurance, or anything of the like. Due to him spending 3 weeks in a hospital and him passing due to COVID-19 we have extra financial burden to deal with (medical and funeral bills). Our family now needs your support. Your generous donations will help alleviate my dad’s burial cost and medical financial burdens that we are facing during these very challenging times.
