Help Us Defeat The COVID-19 Epidemic
As of the time of this writing, the COVID-19 virus has infected over 3 million victims worldwide, and that number is projected to grow for the foreseeable future. Over 230 thousand of these victims have died due in large part to the lacking availability of medical resources. Our campaign is aiming to fix this issue through the invention of an affordable, innovative new ventilator.
Why Do We Need Ventilator Innovation?
Though the COVID-19 virus is capable of causing harm to all parts of the human body, the lungs are ground zero. As a result, many victims of this virus suffer severe lung damage, with a significant amount of patients developing Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), a condition where fluid collects in the lungs; lethally impairing oxygen flow throughout the body. The good news is that ventilators can be used support the patient's breathing by forcing air (with high levels of oxygen) into the lungs. However, conventional ventilators are currently way too expensive, despite the low cost of components. With that said, there is no reason for any person during these trying times to be turned away from the necessary medical services and devices they need.
Taking Action
In response to this epidemic, we got to work building a COVID-19 respiratory ventilator prototype. Our engineers worked for several sleepless weeks, fueled by coffee and energy drinks to quickly conceive a new affordable ventilator. The result was a safe, mass-produceable ventilator by using off-the-shelf materials , designed with industry and FDA ventilator standards in mind.

How Will Funds Be Distributed?
Our fight against the coronavirus is a global effort, and we can't continue our fight against the COVID-19 without YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT. Here is what we are going to do with the campaign funds:
• Bring the price point for each ventilator into the $200- $300 dollar range by upgrading our manufacturing facility and streamlining our manufacturing processes
• Hire COVID-19 displaced workers to help us build our ventilators
• Manufacture and build our first batch of ventilators to be delivered to the most severely affected areas of COVID-19.
What Do You Get Out Of Contributing To Our Project?
• A subscription to a monthly newsletter showing the amount of ventilators we've created, a map of areas in which we have distributed the ventilators, and messages from the team.
• Your name engraved on a ventilator
