#CovidCareCard Packages for Front Line Heroes
Wanting to thank and thrill our front line workers at our local hospitals AND support local businesses at the same time, the #CovidCareCard packages idea was started. Our heroes deserve to feel appreciated: items and surprises to excite them and make them feel so appreciated & special, give a BIG smile, feel pretty, and help relax when they are home from their long day.
We will purchase $100 of (fitting) items that are $10 or less from as many local small businesses to include in boxes. The more donations, the more boxes, the more businesses we can support, and more departments we can send to!!!
❤️ Monetary Donations from the public - every $10 helps!
Please share the GoFundMe Page: https://www.gofundme.com/f/covidcarecardpackage
❤️ Businesses - want to be a sponsor of a box? With a donation of $100, we will put your logo on the outside, any business marketing inside, and social media posts with photos!
❤️ Businesses can DONATE their items if they please.
❤️ Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/covidcarecardpackages/
❤️ Google Doc: https://tinyurl.com/ycm2pckw Continue to add your fitting PRODUCTS for care packages $10 or less! Update any info missing, please.
❤️ Please help support the businesses listed as well if you can! Mother's Day and Father's Day are coming soon, they have some great gift ideas.
*Please note: we are asking the items we purchase to be delivered to a convenient HBG location to help us make the boxes as quickly as possible. When we purchase, we'll provide an address. Not all items will be fitting, but we'd love to promote your business with business cards you may deliver.
All donations will be recorded for in a public google doc as well as purchases from businesses for integrity and so everyone can see the donations at work!
I first came up with #CovidCareCards to sell my own greeting cards - and we mail a card to a front line worker for every package sold: https://madetokeep.com/collections/retail-greeting-cards
This just wasn't enough for me :)
In mid-March, I started the #MassiveMaskMake when I saw a need and began to connect those in the healthcare field in NEED of masks with those sewing. I can't sew, but can market and organize. We currently have over 30 sewers, 6 cutters, donors of fabric and money, making kits to quickly execute the masks with Miranda from Hello Gorgeous Boutique. Together, we all have donated over 3,000 masks so far to nurses and doctors, first responders, nursing homes, health care workers, and medical essential workers! Our group has come together in a time of confusion and fear for a greater purpose and many long-lasting friendships have been made.

Please help support LOCAL BUSINESSES in a unique way to ALSO THANK our Front Liners at the hospitals!
Thank you! Xoxo - Mel
