Cow Palace Roof Replacement
Donation protected
Dade City's historic Cow Palace is badly in need of a new roof in order to protect its native cypress woodwork and Spanish tiles from further damage. Built in 1957 within the Black neighborhood of Carver Heights, the club attracted some of the biggest names in blues, soul and R&B, including James Brown, B.B. King, Ray Charles and Buddy Guy. One of the state's last surviving stops on the fabled Chitlin’ Circuit, the Cow Palace was recognized as an official historical sight by the state of Florida in December 2021.
