Lori Schumacher Fundraiser

Our friend and co-worker, Lori Schumacher,  who started with Butler Coring a couple of years ago, has been battling Squamous Small Cell Lung Cancer since December of 2014.  When Lori was hired, we discovered several of us all grew up in the same  neighborhood  in Jefferson Park.  We all immediately welcomed Lori as family because she fit right in to the Butler Coring culture. Recently, she was hospitalized for severe headaches, a possible side affect of her medicine, Obdivo. While in the hospital, the doctors found she had multiple mini strokes due to  untreated extremely high blood pressure.  Lori spent several weeks in the hospital and had to undergo physical and occupational therapy to get her strength back. She just returned to work and is trying to resume some semblance of normalcy.  Lori and her husband, Mike, have been through more than their fair share of difficulties and now they need our help.  Between hospital bills, their mortgage and every thing else that needs to get paid, they just do not have the resources. Additionally, Mike is unable to work due to recent back and hand surgeries. These are two great people that would never ask for help from anyone and that's why we want to lend a hand.
