Hi, my name is Gabriel Elkayam. I love racing and aspire to become a professional driver competing in international motor racing one day.
In 2022 I will need funding and sponsorship to allow me to continue my journey towards this goal. I am raising money to support my team with the costs of my racing for the 2022 season.
I competed in 27 races and achieved a podium finish rate of over 80% this season. That's pretty solid. And I aim to deliver more excellent results in the new season.
Some of my top achievements for the 2021 season include:
- Ipswich Kart Club Championship Winner
- Warwick Kart Club Championship Winner
- 1st Place Young Guns KNSW
- 2nd Place Top Guns
- 3rd Place Queensland State Cup
- Cooloola Coast Kart Club Championship 2nd place
- The 2021 Ron Duffield Memorial Gold Award Recipient
As you can see, I have really honed my skills this year and am ready to race in Nationals, but I need financial support. My goal is to raise enough funds to compete at Club, State and National level in 2022.
Why do I need to raise so much?
According to my mum's calculations, the average local race weekend costs around $500 (tyres $260 + entry fees $80 + fuel/travel $100 + parts $100). Add at least $1500 for a State event. For Nationals.... times it by 10 for each event! (2 x tyres $520 + entry fees $300 + fuel/travel/accommodation/car hire $2000 + pitting/parts/transport, etc. $2000). And we haven't even counted the costs of engine maintenance, kart repairs, license fees, club memberships, training or safety gear!
So, the more money I raise, the more racing I can do (see below for my racing commitments based on funds raised).

If you can spare some dollars to help me take the next step towards my goal, that would be awesome! Thank you.
