USMC Cpl. Justin M. Brewer’s Life Memorial
On Friday 07/31/2020, Justin suddenly and unexpectedly was taken from us in a tragic car accident. Justin was returning home from school when he briefly lost control of his vehicle and over-corrected. The road he was traveling on is a well known highway with heavy animal traffic, sharp turns and a heightened risk for accidents. Now his family, friends, and his many brothers in the USMC are working diligently to provide him a proper, military burial without restrictions or regulations.
Justin was the youngest of three and grew up in Kennewick, WA with his parents Craig & Diane Brewer. In his adolescence, Justin was a social and charismatic spirit who enjoyed life to the fullest engaging in sports, outdoor games, hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. He felt most at peace from a young age being outside and in nature. He was an active member of the church and in the community, with a strong desire to serve others.
After his graduation from Kamiakin High School in 2008, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, shipping out to MCRD San Diego & later graduating from ITB as a 0331 Machine Gunner. Justin served on two combat deployments to the Helmand Province in Sangin, Afghanistan. There, his unit 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines engaged in the heaviest sustained fighting since Vietnam. Justin and his comrades upheld the long standing honor of his unit, 3/7 India Co, among the most decorated and combat effective units in the Corps. During his second combat deployment, Justin received a combat meritorious field promotion to Corporal which he earned through his strong drive, tenacity and determination to serve and be the best. He is revered as a legend among the Marines he served with and many men survived because of his effectiveness on the battle field.
During his time through active duty, Justin experienced the birth of his two daughters Makinsey and Aria. Having his girls were two of the proudest moments of his life. Since then, he has increasingly grown in love & pride for them with each passing day. Justin was a devoted father and made every decision he could to provide them a better, happier, more memorable childhood.
We are asking for your support to give Justin the burial he has earned as an outstanding Marine, citizen, family man, father and community member. Those of us who knew Justin can tell you he went everywhere with all his heart, focused and fearless. He was the embodiment of a soul who was devoted to a lifetime of service to his family, country and Corps. Please help us honor him as he has honored us with his good graces.
All donations will be provided to Justin’s family to help them with his memorial and funeral arrangements. Funds over and above will be used to help support his daughter’s travel arrangements, 1,400 miles away, to ensure they can be with him as we give him honors. Any remainder will be saved to best support his daughters Makinsey and Aria. We greatly appreciate any time, assistance and support you provide.
Rest In Peace Justin. You were Always Faithful. You will be missed brother. May God see you home.
