Fight Cancer

On Monday, March 14th, my mother, Juanita, received one of the most difficult news one can endure in this life. After a week of severe pain and a few days in the hospital, the endoscopy showed a malignant gastric tumor - stomach cancer. At 56 years old, my mom's life completely changed instantly. We are in the middle stages of an aggressive treatment plan that includes chemotherapy and surgery to remove the tumor. Since then, my Mom has received 4 aggressive chemotherapy treatments, and is currently recovering from surgery before resuming chemotherapy. 

To make matters worse, Friday, March 11th, her partner of 16 years, Hector, was also diagnosed with a cancerous tumor near his groin. He underwent radiation treatment and recovered from non-Hodgkins lymphoma and is now in post-treatment. Both have been unable to work during this time and are on very limited finances.

My Mom still has many challenges to come that will be great. We reach out to our support system, family and friends for your help and support as we journey through this uncertain and challenging time. We thank you, appreciate you, and can't do this without you.

I will be the head organizer and contact for this and orchestrate as best I can so that my mom and Hector get the support they need. We thank you as a family for your kindness, support, and prayers.
