College Park High School as a long history of educating the young minds in Pleasant Hill, CA and part of that valuable education is the engaging Visual Arts programs the school offers. With budgets stretched to the breaking point, the teachers need our help more than ever… So the teachers asked for help and we answered that call.
We are a group of parents of visual art students that have recently gathered together to support the Visual Arts teachers of College Park High School. The best way we’ve found to support the teachers is to form a new boosters club.
After all, the band has one… the choir has one… the athletes have one… so now its time for the arts students to have one too!
And so... the College Park Visual Arts Boosters was born!!
Starting a boosters club needs two parts, dedicated hard work and money. We have the dedication and hard work covered, but what we need is seed money to help us grow our new boosters club.
I know what you’re thinking… you need money to help raise money? Yes, we do!
We are asking for seed money so we can file our paperwork with the State of California to become a non-profit corporation. But most importantly, we need seed money to file for our tax-exempt status with the IRS. We are also hoping for seed money to purchase materials to run our initial fundraising effort. After all, everyone knows it takes money to make money!
So how can you help?? A donation in any amount is greatly appreciated and all proceeds will be used toward helping our club get off the ground. Can’t dontate? Please forward our link to everyone you know and maybe they can help.
