Funeral Expenses for Grandma

Hello, my grandmother, Ms. Strong recently passed away. The funeral and medical expenses are already adding up, and my family could use your help. My grandmother regularly sang "Get Away Jordan" in the church choir on Sundays, so I know she was prepared and has crossed the river to Love's embrace. In addition to leading the church choir, she worked for a funeral home for decades and believed everything was taken care of. Unfortunately, it is turning out to be much more complicated. Handshake agreements are hard to enforce, and my grandma was very explicit that if we cremated her she would come back to haunt us (I think that was a joke). The expenses associated with her death are creating a burden that prevents our family from being able to grieve and celebrate her life properly.

Grandma Jean held our family together through difficult times with just grit and prayer; she was our connecting link to the eternal; and she was always our reminder that it is okay to be human. One of the last times I talked to her, I said, "Please pray for me" She said, "I always have; what do you think has been holding you up all these years."
