Rebuilding Hope for the Sanchez Family

My name is David Sanchez and this gofundme is for the benefit of my family; Karina Sanchez and my two young children Rohini ( 3 1/2) and Devadas (8 months).

My Wife and I are both first responders. I work for the City of Los Angeles with 18 years of service and am a United States Army veteran with 3 overseas deployments . My wife is an Emergency Medicine Physician. During the Eaton Canyon fire, our home in Altadena was completely engulfed in flames (even seen on the news actively burning down). We were left with nothing but 1 extra day of clothes and a diaper bag.

The loss is devastating on many levels and puts our family in a difficult position to ask for assistance from anyone who would be generous enough to offer it. I have always viewed myself as someone that would help if I was in a position to and find myself internally conflicted about asking for support publicly. Given the gravity of this tragic situation I must put aside my conflict and do anything I can to return a level or normalcy to my family.
