Proleung Khmer: Celebrating Cambodian Resilience

Tax deductible
Proleung Khmer (Khmer Soul) is a nonprofit, community-driven initiative dedicated to honoring the memory of the Khmer genocide. The organization's mission is to preserve Khmer heritage, promote education, and inspire future generations by creating spaces for remembrance, healing, and celebration. From traditional performances and historical exhibits to engaging panel discussions and literary arts, Proleung Khmer serves as a powerful testament to the resilience and contributions of the Khmer diaspora.

On April 17th, we will mark the 50th anniversary of the Khmer Rouge's takeover of Phnom Penh. To commemorate this significant event, Proleung Khmer will host A 50-Year Journey of Remembrance and Resilience celebration. This series of cultural events, performances, and educational programs will honor the lives lost, celebrate the strength of survivors, and uplift the Khmer American community.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to support this celebration of Cambodian culture. These funds will help create spaces for education, healing, and celebration through dance, art, and dialogue. Together, we can preserve Khmer American culture and ensure its stories are shared with future generations.
