Stacy's Medical Bills

From Stacy's daughter Sydney:
At the beginning of this year, my Mom started having extreme nose bleeds, lasting up to an hour at a time, even putting her in the ER when she was coughing up blood clots. After MRI's and CT- scans, an ENT who told her she had a polyp in her sinuses. What was to be a two hour- outpatient surgery ended up having her admitted into ICU at a different hospital. The surgeon encountered brain tissue entangled with the polyp. She had a defect with a hole in the bottom of her skull that was allowing non-functioning brain tissue to poke through, and she was losing cerebral spinal fluid through the hole. She had to remain flat on her back for 2 days to allow the CSF to build back up. The 2nd surgery was to remove the remaining polyp, and patch the hole. Tests on the polyp proved to be a tumor which was cancerous. She has a really rare cancer that grows within the nervees of the sinuses, and it is one of the rarest nerve cancers. The surgeons wanted to present her case at a conference due to its rarity. Pretty sure that the problem was taken care of, the plan was to go ahead with radiation, but she was still leaking CFS. A different surgeon thought that another surgery was needed. T his week, she just finished her 3rd surgery. We're all very optimistic this time about the problem being fixed. However, radiation is still needed and the medical bills are piling up. She is a single Mom of 2 girls (16, & 14) and was living paycheck to paycheck before all of this happened. She's had 3 unexpected surgeries, and 2 stays in ICU for numerous days. As per doctor's orders, she's been off of work since April and cannot do strenuous activity to prevent her spinal fluid from creating too much pressure in her brain.
Any donation to help her out is greatly appreciated. Our appreciation is all we have to offer at this time, and assurance that the next time someone is in need, we'll pay it forward. If you are unable to help, we understand. Your prayers and good thoughts are appreciated just as much!
