Help Save Dave!

Dave came into our life when my trusty Seat Leon needed repairs after a turbo issue, which was expected to take up to six weeks. So, in late October 2024, I found a Mazda 2 on Facebook Marketplace in a town just outside Norwich.

From the moment I saw it, the car had personality. The passenger door had a dent from a minor bump, the indicator stalk was a bit temperamental, and the passenger side window refused to open. But despite these quirks, Dave quickly grew on our family and friends—and that’s how he got his name!

However, Dave only had three months left on his MOT, and it was a close call whether he'd pass. Unfortunately, he didn’t.

Now, Dave is at a crossroads and needs your help to get back on the road. The funds raised here will cover the cost of repairs and bring Dave back to life. In return for your generosity, you’ll have the chance to display your name on Dave—more details to come!

But that's not all. Dave is going to work hard to raise funds for various charities throughout the year. Some of the exciting plans include:

Attending local football tournaments to guess the balls in Dave

If Dave doesn’t hit the fundraising target, unfortunately, he’ll be sent to the scrap heap. But any money donated to fix Dave will instead be donated to the Young Minds charity.
