AXO's 19th Annual Crack the Bat
Donation protected
It's that time of year again, when the leaves change colors. We trade trips to the beach for trips to the cinder mill. And when the sisters of Alpha Chi Omega come together to raise money and awareness for domestic violence prevention.
This October 15th, Alpha Chi Omega will be hosting its 19th annual Crack the Bat softball tournament. All the proceeds and donations will be going to help victims of domestic violence.
On this Go Fund Me page the sisters of Alpha Chi are asking for donations from friends and family. This year the women of Alpha Chi Omega are setting an ambitious goal of rising $5,000. Every dollar brings us that much closer to reaching our goal.
We thank you for your support and donations!!
Surprisingly, 1 in 4 women will experience domestic violence in their lifetime. This means that domestic violence affects twice as many women as breast cancer.
Help the sisters of Alpha Chi Omega raise money and awareness to fight this silent epidemic.
The women of Alpha Chi Omega are inspired, astonished, and beyond thankful for all the support and generous donations. It is because of people like YOU, that are changing the stigma and silence that surrounds domestic violence. Thank you taking a stand with us !
October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. Too often the voices of domestic violence victims are silenced. Three to four million women in the United States are beaten in their homes each year by their intimate partner. Their abusers are the same people that tell them they love them, and the rest of the world it is none of their business.
To celebrate this month of awareness, Alpha Chi Omega has made this video to explain just what philanthropy means to us.
Please help us give voices back to the voiceless this October by supporting our Crack the Bat softball tournament.
