Craig Avery

Update 12-10-22. The money has been delivered and this fundraiser is no longer accepting donations. Kelly asked me to thank everyone who has supported her in this time of need. So, thanks to all one last time!

This fundraiser is for Craig Avery’s family. Craig was a co worker of mine at UPS for many years. After a hard fought battle, many medical expenses have piled up. I’m attaching Craig’s Obituary for those who didn’t have the pleasure of experiencing Craig’s company. He was a good, hard working man, always quick with a smile and pleasant demeanor. Any and all contributions will be greatly appreciated.

With a broken heart, we are sad to announce that Craig M. Avery, 55, died of kidney failure on November 3, 2022.

A devoted husband and father, Craig is survived by his cherished wife Kelly (Bock) Avery and their three children: Kiersten Kelly (23), Craig Jack "CJ" (20), and Caden Patrick (18). Craig and Kelly were together for over 26 years, and happily married for almost 22.

Born on August 8, 1967, Craig was predeceased by his beloved parents, Jack and Constance (Hart) Avery, and was the second of their three boys. Loved by many, Craig is also survived by his loving mother and father in law, Theresa and Ken Bock; brother in law and friend, Ken Bock, wife Shannon, their sons, Bobby and Kenny; maternal Aunt Joy Connelly; as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews, Pretty Aunt Jen and friends.

Raised in Pennsauken, NJ, Craig graduated Pennsauken High School in 1985. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving from 1986-1997. His son, CJ, is currently following his father's footsteps in the U.S. Navy.

Craig and his family made lifelong friends while living in Bristol, CT for 12 years, before moving to National Park, NJ, 8 years ago. A member of the the Teamsters Union Local #676, Craig also enjoyed friendships made while working for UPS. An avid Philadelphia Sports fan and an Eagles season ticket holder for 15 years, Craig was happiest when cheering on his Eagles and Phillies, or spending time down the shore with his family.

Craig truly never met a stranger and will be deeply missed by all.
