Craig Butler Viking Marathon for Liquid Therapy

I've been on quite the journey over the past few months with my health. To now feel fit enough to be able to enter my first marathon is a testament that nothing is impossible. This time last year I weighed 110kg and I had completely stopped surfing and only left my house a handful of times over the space of a year. Most of the year was spent on the couch or in bed with the curtains closed. I am now in the best condition that I have ever been in and I would love to give back and help others achieve the same goal. I am doing the Waterford Viking Marathon to help raise money for an organization called Liquid Therapy. 

Tom Losey and his team at Liquid Therapy do some amazing work for children with disabilities and who have and are at risk of problems with mental health by introducing them to the amazing wonders and healing power of the ocean. I really cannot think of a better organization to help raise funds for than Liquid Therapy. To introduce children with disabilities and aim to provide an alternative way of coping with their problems is just amazing. Tom and the team at Liquid Therapy truly do some amazing work all over Ireland.
