Craig Carson Hatch's Celebration of Life
Donation protected
Hi there, my name is Cassie Redford and I’m putting some of my pride aside to ask for help.
My daddy died January 26, 2022, due to heart and Covid issues. My sister and I will be splitting the cost of his headstone ($2500) but I’m afraid my husband and I will not be able to afford our half ($1250). Let alone for my daddy’s memorial itself. My daddy never expected much when it came to his funeral because he didn’t feel anyone cared. But I care and I want my daddy to be able to rest next to his mommy and daddy in Burley, Idaho. We currently live in Florida and in order to make the celebration in accordance with what my daddy would have delighted in such as fishing, camping, and BBQ in’. I cannot fly, as I will need to drive in order to provide the gear needed for such festivities.
But as you all know, gas prices are just plain ridiculous right now and my husband and I can barely pay our bills let alone pay for a cross country trip. We plan to stay at family and friends places as much as possible throughout the drive but gas is just going to cost a fortune! Once there we will need to buy food for the BBQ and have money for fishing licenses to fulfill my daddy’s perfect memorial.
I miss my daddy with all my heart and soul and hate that I can’t just pick up the phone to call him. I know that my daddy didn’t think too many people in his past would care enough to go to his funeral but since he has passed so many people have called and or contacted me to pay their respects and wish they could go to his memorial. Some will attend which is great! But others can’t make the journey. So I ask maybe if you can’t make the journey maybe you could donate to the cause.
We will meet at his burial site at Pleasant View Cemetery on July 23,2022 at 10am and then at 12pm meet up at the campsites at Lake Cleveland West to celebrate my daddy in all the ways he loved to live his life. With fishing, camping, bbqing, and playing card games.
Please help us make daddy’s Celebration of Life as special as my heart hopes for. And thank you for taking the time to read this and for your possible donation.
My daddy, Craig Carson Hatch was born July 24, 1956 in Burley, Idaho. His parents were Ray Moss Hatch and Carol Carson Hatch. He had two siblings Randy and Kim Hatch. He was married twice. Once to Laura George and in that marriage had my sister Holly Hatch, now Holly Jones. In his second marriage he was married to my mother Bertha Gaynell Flading, later Beth Hatch. I was the only child in that marriage. My daddy was a strong and hard working brick mason, very proud of his profession and the history behind it.He was proud of his family and his Latter-Day Saint family history. He had his tribulations and temptations but later on in life he conquered them. My daddy was hilariously funny and was great company around a campfire or a board game. He had a tender heart and had so much love for his family. Especially his children, Holly and myself as well as my brother from one of my mothers marriages, Tad Tsetsakis. After my mother passed my daddy moved from Oregon all the way to West Virginia to live with my brother Tad and they became the best of friends. After ten years of living with my brother, my daddy decided to move down to Florida with me and my family but sadly we only had the honor of having my daddy with us for about four months before Covid took him.
