Craig Cesal (Life for Weed) Home Confinement Fund
After serving 18+ YEARS as a first time non-violent marijuana offender, my father Craig Cesal has been granted Home Confinement!!!
My father is high-risk for COVID-19 due to his age (60) and pre-existing conditions (type-1 diabetic, asthma, etc) and this is why he has been allowed to spend the foreseeable future with myself and my fiancé, Brian. Our home will be a much better “prison” for him than FCI Terre Haute!!
That being said; he is going to need a lot of assistance. Taking him in means he is now our financial responsibility. We have a bedroom and bathroom set up and ready to go, but that won’t get him too far.
My dad is going to need medical attention (an assault by a guard left his elbow broken and unattended), dental assistance for broken teeth, insulin for his diabetes; not to mention clothes, toiletries, food, a phone and computer. And probably more stuff we haven’t thought of yet.
We live comfortably but by no means have that kind of money to spend. Especially with my disability and Brian being out of work due to the pandemic. We also don’t know how easy it will be for my father to get a job and be able to work, considering his health issues.
This is the greatest day ever for us and we hope it will be even better with some help from our family and friends!
We know Craig has gained a huge support system over the years and many of you have shared his story. We are asking for any help you may be able to offer so that we can give him everything he deserves and more! If you aren’t able to donate please consider sharing this with as many people as you can.
My dad has served 18 years for a first time non-violent marijuana offense. He deserves to live out the rest of his days without having to worry where his next meal will come from.
Thank you for reading and thank you in advance for all your support!
